Psalms 119:9 Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking
heed thereto according to thy word.

As a young Christian searching for truths, I was quite taken back while setting in a
doctor’s waiting room where I picked up a National Geographic magazine. In it
were some of the first pictures taken by the space telescope Hubble.
Two pictures really caught my eye. The first picture showed an unnumerable amount of stars over a very large area. It seemed to be billions of stars to me. The caption then said the stars were not
stars but universes like our Milky Way. The second photo was again a large area of stars but it had this very small empty box in which nothing could be seen. The box was described to be about the size of
a man’s thumb. The caption said the first picture was what Hubble found in this
seemingly empty spot.
I thought, “WOW”, and for a brief second my faith in God quivered. And then it was as if the Lord whispered to me, “Do you think I cannot create that?” I then understood that God, MY GOD, was much greater, much bigger, much more, than I had ever imagined. My prayer to my God was this, “Lord, if you can make something that big, it would be a small thing for you to teach me the truth of the Bible”. I was searching for truths, but I found the truth.
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and
the Word was God.
John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
Psalms 119:9 Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking
heed thereto according to [in agreement with] thy word.
